What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding behavior. It refers to a set of principles that focus on what drives behavior and how behavior change is impacted by the environment.
How does it help?
In a nutshell, ABA identifies why a particular behavior occurs and teaches a more appropriate behavior in order to meet that need.
Is a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder required?
A diagnosis of Autism is not mandatory to benefit from ABA; however, the diagnosis is currently required in order for insurance to cover the cost.
What settings do you offer?
Services are currently offered out of our center-based location inside We Rock the Spectrum sensory gym in Edmond, Oklahoma. Home and community-based services are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Do you collaborate with other providers?
Yes, we collaborate with other service providers/caregivers including but not limited to occupational therapists, speech therapists, medical providers, and school personnel.
